Description:

The End User Computing Engineer is responsible for designing and engineering solutions that support end user computing. End user computing includes the Operating System, Application Delivery, patch management, and application updates. This role includes development and disbursement of end user computing, documentation, enforcement of security policies, and management and maintenance of the centralized deployment applications.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Create, manage, and maintain standard build/images, and the build/image creation process for end-user devices

Engineer packages and deployments of End User device software via Microsoft Endpoint Manager & JAMF

Manage and administer Microsoft Endpoint Manager & JAMF

Automation and process improvement of current End User computing environment

Serve as the main point of contact for the centralized configuration and patch management

Implementation and management of Azure Virtual Desktop

Function as a resource on projects including new hardware images, Windows, Mac and Office upgrades and other projects involving updates to software on End User devices

Coordinate with multiple teams and departments to implement, maintain, and enhance a common end user device experience

Act as a technical escalation point and research complex technical problems and identify, implement, and communicate technical fixes

Assist and train Technical Support Analysts and other IT staff on the troubleshooting and resolution of End User computing issues

Partner/collaborate with application and security teams to develop a secure technical environment

Automate tasks by scripting

Maintain high standards in quality in the delivery of End User computing services

Develop a deep understanding of industry trends and competitive advantages

Maintain current and thorough knowledge of modern technologies

Create and maintain documentation with a focus on detail

Work independently and under the supervision of the Systems Director

Plan for and implement disaster recovery/business continuity solutions

Work with 3rd party vendors and outside consultants as business needs require

Job Qualifications (Education, Experience and Certification):

Bachelor’s in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or other relevant degree, or direct related experience

Minimum of 2 years of enterprise-level experience managing endpoints in a corporate environment with 500+ users including Microsoft and iOS operating system application deployment, configuration, and management

Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102) certification required

Additional Technical certification(s) (i.e., M365 EAE, AZ-Admin) preferred

Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Endpoint Manager & JAMF

Extensive knowledge and experience with VDI

Experience with MacOS, iOS and Android

Experience with Windows 11 deployment and management

Experience with modern management approaches like Windows Autopilot and Apple Business Manager

Experience implementing Zero Trust principles and endpoint security solutions

Extensive knowledge of Group Policy (GPO) administration

Extensive experience with Microsoft Intune

Experience managing Microsoft 365 services and applications

Proficiency in PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and automation frameworks

Knowledge of conditional access policies and device compliance

Experience supporting remote/hybrid work environments

Demonstrated excellence in organizational abilities, ability to prioritize and follow up on open issues and projects with a sense of urgency

Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business including peers, technical management, and/or external vendors

Physical Requirements:

Colorado Salary Range - $69,375 to $115,625 annually. A discretionary bonus may be available based upon performance.
