Application Analyst/Desktop Support

Title: Application/Desktop Support

NOT remote, need to be located in San Antonio, TX. Opportunity to work for a large financial company on a long term contract

Skills / Experience Needed

Experience with Logging using tools like Kibana, Datalog, Grafanna is very important

• Subject matter expert for multiple enterprise applications including Windows 10/11, Chrome, MBAMBitLocker, Microsoft Office Suite

• 2+ years’ experience with Software developerscripting. Languages: SQL, VB.NET, VBScript, PowerShell

• Application support experience

• Experience in querying and preprocessing data from structured and/or unstructured databases using query languages such as SQL, HQL, NoSQL, etc.

• Experience developing business work that leverage business intelligence platforms, data management platforms, or SQL-based languages (Tableau, Business Objects, Snowflake, Hadoop, Netezza, NoSQL, ANSI SQL, or related)

• Experience with Network Infrastructure, Client Computing and Desktop Management

• Customer-focused, dependable, committed, and able to multitask.

• Ability to work independently to research complex technical issues and generate creative/innovative solutions.

• Proven communication skills with the ability to deliver communication to all levels of management.

• Experience working directly with business partners and IT departments.

Skills:

Troubleshooting, customer service, SQL, application support, office 365, AWS, Support, Technical support, Kibana, Datalog

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

SQL, scripting experience is a must have. Experience with Logging using tools like Kibana, Datalog, Grafanna is very important. From an attitude perspective, need to own that space.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
