**Job Title: Mold Set-Up Technician**

**Job Description**

As a Mold Set-Up Technician, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of complex multi-cavity molds equipped with various types of hot runner systems. Your role will involve analyzing mold conditions for preventative maintenance using check sheets, QA reports, pull shots, and visual inspections, as well as operating machine tools to fabricate and repair mold components, fixtures, and gauges.

**Responsibilities**

+ Repair and maintain complex multi-cavity molds with hot runner systems.

+ Analyze mold conditions using check sheets, QA reports, pull shots, and visual inspection for preventative maintenance.

+ Operate machine tools to fabricate and repair mold components, fixtures, and gauges.

**Essential Skills**

+ Proficiency in plastic, mold setup, and injection mold operations.

+ Experience as a toolmaker and mechanic with troubleshooting skills.

+ Ability to operate machines and perform tool & die work.

+ Mechanical inclination and production experience with hot runner systems.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ High school diploma or equivalent required.

+ Minimum of four years of experience in the construction, alteration, or repair of complicated tools, molds, and gauges.

**Work Environment**

You will work in a manufacturing facility with available shifts including 1st shift from 7am to 3:30pm with weekends off, and 3rd shift from 11pm to 7am with Fridays and Saturdays off. Training will occur on the assigned shift. Shift differentials include $1.00 for 2nd and 3rd shifts, as well as weekends.

This is a Permanent position based out of Grandview, Missouri.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $49920.00 - $49920.00/yr.
