**Job Title: Injection Molding Process Technician**
**Job Description**
The Injection Molding Process Technician will support the manufacturing operations by safely setting up and processing injection molding machines. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of the use and function of molding equipment, including dryers, blenders, and other related tools. The technician will also be responsible for reading and interpreting parts prints and drawings, performing machine changeovers, and conducting routine preventative maintenance.
**Responsibilities**
+ Set up and process injection molding machines safely.
+ Understand and operate molding equipment such as dryers and blenders.
+ Read and interpret parts prints and drawings accurately.
+ Perform machine changeovers and routine preventative maintenance.
+ Utilize measuring devices like calipers and height gauges.
+ Set up and start tooling in injection machines efficiently.
+ Load correct process and make necessary adjustments.
+ Perform general maintenance on injection molding and tooling.
+ Fill out changeover check sheets and other applicable paperwork.
+ Communicate and assist quality control in solving root cause problems.
**Essential Skills**
+ 3+ years of experience in injection or blow molding.
+ Proficiency in injection mold machine operating and tooling.
+ Ability to troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance.
+ Familiarity with mechanical, mold, production, and plastic maintenance repair.
+ Experience with plastics injection molding, blow molding, and PVC.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Preferred experience with calipers, electrical meters, pressure reading devices, and temperature gauges.
+ Ability to work closely with the maintenance team.

**Work Environment**
The work environment requires wearing jeans or work pants, work shirts, hearing protection, and steel toe boots. Employees will be exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level on the production floor is above 85db, necessitating hearing protection at all times. Temperature conditions can vary, with winter lows around 50 degrees Fahrenheit and summer highs exceeding 100 degrees Fahrenheit.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Collierville, Tennessee.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
