**Hiring a 2nd Shift Automation Maintenance Technician in Middletown, PA!**

**Job Description**

Join our team as an Electro-Mechanical Technician in a new, state-of-the-art distribution facility, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing industrial equipment. This role involves working with advanced automation systems, supporting a major distribution operation for Dell products. This is a direct placement position for the 2nd shift. The shift is Monday - Friday (3pm - 11:30pm).

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform highly diversified duties to maintain facilities and plant equipment.

+ Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of facilities and equipment during production.

+ Conduct scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

+ Perform skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.

+ Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, and test and make adjustments.

+ Recommend subcontractors for problems beyond internal capabilities.

+ Manage preventive maintenance, reactive repairs, and troubleshooting.

**Essential Skills**

+ Minimum of 5 years experience in industrial maintenance.

+ Proficiency in both mechanical and electrical systems.

+ Understanding of automation equipment.

+ Experience with 3-phase 480-volt electrical systems.

+ PLC troubleshooting and Ladder Logic understanding.

+ Hydraulic and pneumatic systems knowledge.

+ Experience with material handling equipment.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ High school diploma required; college degree preferred.

+ Experience in maintaining large facility equipment.

+ Knowledge of conveyors, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, and box/label sortation equipment.

**Work Environment**

Work in a 500,000 square foot, mostly indoor facility dedicated to Dell product distribution. The environment is typical of large distribution operations, involving significant walking. The facility is not climate-controlled, with the exception of HVAC duties. The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 3:00 to 11:30 PM, with minimal overtime. Collaborate with a maintenance supervisor and two other technicians in a supportive team setting.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Permanent position based out of Middletown, Pennsylvania.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
