Clean Room Environment - Extrusion Operator

**Job Title: Clean Room Environment - Extrusion Operator ($18-21/hr.+)**

**Job Description**

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled 3rd shift Extrusion Operator Level II to join our team. This position involves operating a rubber extrusion machine in a clean room environment regulated by FDA standards. You will be responsible for feeding silicone and rubber materials into the machine, cutting products to size, packaging them, and conducting quality checks. This is a fast-paced role requiring attention to detail and adherence to work instructions. The position is a 6-month contract with the potential for permanent hire. We also have an entry level 1st shift position as well.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate rubber extrusion machines efficiently.

+ Feed silicone and rubber material into the machine according to work instructions.

+ Cut products to size and package them appropriately.

+ Perform changeovers and prepare the machine for tubing operations.

+ Conduct visual inspections and document quality checks.

+ Maintain cleanliness and adhere to FDA regulations in the clean room environment.

+ Stand for the entire shift and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

**Essential Skills**

+ Minimum of 2 years of machine operator experience.

+ Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

+ Willingness to work Saturdays if needed.

+ Proficiency in following work instructions to meet production goals.

+ Capability to wear clean room attire including suit, hair net, and beard net if applicable.

+ Physical ability to lift 40 lbs and stand for the entire shift.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Previous experience with injection mold machines.

+ Experience working in clean rooms or sterile environments.

**Work Environment**

Work in a state-of-the-art facility with 50 employees across three shifts. Operate in a clean and temperature-controlled environment with AC in summer and heating in winter. Dress in a sterile paper gown provided weekly, with acceptable attire including tennis shoes. Follow strict GMP/FDA requirements for PPE, including hairnets and beard nets. Ensure no piercings, jewelry, or cosmetics are worn. Maintain cleanliness with no food or drink allowed in the clean room area.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of NA, Ohio.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.50/hr.
