**Job Title: Assembler**

**Job Description**

Join our team as a Machine Operator to build cash drawers in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be working with hand tools and standing throughout your shift to assemble cash drawers using process sheets, screw guns, basic hand tools, and measurement equipment. **Responsibilities**

+ Read and interpret work orders, process plans, drawings, and diagrams for assembling cash drawers and related products.

+ Assemble electrical and electronic equipment according to specifications.

+ Perform inspection and testing of cash drawers and products per customer requirements.

+ Mentor and assist new assembly workers as needed.

+ Complete tasks assigned by team leaders, supervisors, or production managers.

+ Maintain a clean and safe workstation, identifying and correcting safety issues.

+ Learn and maintain knowledge of all workstations, tools, and fixtures used in the assembly process.

+ Comply with the company's quality system and fill parts orders per work orders.

+ Identify parts by item key part number and visual inspection.

+ Complete all required forms and documents.

+ Follow all safety guidelines.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience in testing and assembling electronic devices.

+ Ability to perform precise work with strong attention to detail.

+ Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity.

+ Proficient in speaking, reading, and understanding English.

+ Ability to accurately assemble parts using written, verbal, and visual instructions.

+ Skilled in using power and hand assembly tools.

+ Capability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs consistently.

+ Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ 1-2 years of experience in electronic assembly or manufacturing.

+ 6 months of manufacturing experience and a positive attitude.

+ Mechanical aptitude and experience with construction/hand tools.

**Work Environment**

Work in a manufacturing plant where you will stand the entire day on an assembly line, with occasional seating on a stool. The shop has air conditioning but may get warmer due to ovens. Rotate assembly positions every 2 hours for variety. This is a tobacco-free environment. The position operates on a 1st Shift schedule from Monday to Friday, with mandatory overtime currently required.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
