**Job Description**

We are seeking skilled TIG, MIG and FLUX Welders who will be responsible for maintaining a good working knowledge of the welding characteristics of metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and/or titanium. The ideal candidate will have the ability to interpret drawings and plans to understand project scope and specifications, and measure and align workpieces using straightedges, clamps, and calipers.

**Responsibilities**

+ Maintain a good working knowledge of the welding characteristics of metals such as stainless steel, aluminum, and/or titanium.

+ Interpret drawings and plans to understand project scope and specifications.

+ Measure and align workpieces using straightedges, clamps, and calipers.

+ Ensure compliance with established health and safety policies and regulations.

+ Operate power and hand tools.

+ Carry out preventative maintenance and repair on equipment.

**Essential Skills**

+ Proficiency in TIG, MIG, or FLUX welding, especially on stainless steel and miscellaneous metals.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Experience with metal fabrication and layout.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience in metal fabrication.

**Work Environment**

The work environment is non-climate controlled. The standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 7:00 am to 3:45 pm.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hanahan, South Carolina.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
