**Master Technician with EV or Hybrid vehicles**
**Description**
• Repair on electric, hybrid or regular vehicles
• Has Electric Vehicle certification from ASE or an OEM.
• Performs work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with company standards.
• Diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair using schematics and/or diagnostic equipment.
• Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Saves and tags parts of the job if under warranty or if requested by our technical team.
• Examines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommended.
• Communicates with shop foreman immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the promised time.
• Documents all work performed and recommended on the work order.
• Road tests vehicles when required or refers to the shop foreman.
• Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins/recalls.
• Supervises work of other technicians and provides guidance and mentorship to them.
• Maintains and is accountable for all company-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as they were received.
traveling role - will entail 50% travel to Michigan, Ohio and California.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
- 2+ years of Electrical Vehicle (EV) experience
- 5 + years of experience as a Automotive mechanic / technician
- Master Level technician
- A minimum of 4 ASE's and the willingness/ability to get the remainder within 1 year
- Must have some experience traveling as this role will entail 50% travel to Michigan, Ohio and California.
--- Must be located / based in Arizona near the training center in Chandler.
--- Must be willing to hop on a plane within 48 hours notice
- Prior experience training newer technicians on maintenance process and protocol
- Needs to be fully capable of working alone and driving a maintenance program by themselves
- Customer interfacing, must be presentable and someone that the client feels comfortable presenting to their customers
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $59.00/hr.
