What Regulatory Affairs Business Liaison contributes to Cardinal Health
This function applies subject matter expertise regarding technical, clinical and manufacturing regulatory processes and protocols to the business ensuring compliance.
The Regulatory Affairs Business Liaison plans, coordinates and implements strategies for the business that require regulatory compliance. This job family proactively identifies regulatory requirements and risks for products and develops business plans to comply with programs and regulatory submissions.
Responsibilities
Provide regulatory oversight and strategic guidance on relevant design and manufacturing activities
Serve as the primary liaison between Consumer Health and government relations and regulatory teams
Maintain regulatory intelligence and monitoring of the regulatory landscape and assists in the interpretation of risks to the business and helps to develop business mitigation and resolution strategies
Act as the main point of contact between Consumer Health and external industry product and regulatory organizations (e.g., CHPA and AdvaMed)
Develop and implement procedures that need to reside in the business to ensure regulatory compliance
Facilitate communication and collection of requirements from consumer health supplier partners when needed
Coordinate and submit necessary data and documentation for regulatory bodies as needed by the business
Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements across all internal stakeholders
Facilitate business product portfolio and packaging reviews that align with regulated environmental compliance targets
Provide input into strategic decisions affecting regulatory compliance
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Public Policy, or a related field desired; advanced degree in related field, preferred
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in regulatory affairs, compliance, or a related role, preferred
Experience in the consumer package goods industry, OTC, supplements and/or medical devices, preferred
Familiarity with environmental and chemicals of concern regulations, preferred
Strong understanding of regulatory processes and requirements
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze complex regulatory information and provide clear guidance
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Experience in preparing and submitting regulatory documentation
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

Anticipated salary range: $103,500 – $147,900
