Test Technician

PGS Worldwide is actively seeking a skilled Test Technician to support ongoing projects for an Aerospace leader in Chelmsford, MA. This is an initial 6-month contract-to-hire opportunity, and I will respond immediately to all qualified candidates.

Job Description:

A leading technology and defense company in Chelmsford, MA is seeking a detail-oriented Test Technician to support testing and troubleshooting of advanced electronic systems. This is a hands-on opportunity to work with cutting-edge RF and circuit board technologies in a highly technical production environment. Key Responsibilities:

Perform electrical and RF testing on circuit boards, subassemblies, and complete systems using both manual and automated test equipment.

Follow work instructions, process documents, and test plans to ensure all units meet quality and performance standards.

Accurately document results in test databases and generate reports.

Conduct basic troubleshooting and retesting of failed components or assemblies.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality, production, and engineering, to support continuous improvement and efficient production flow. Why This Role is a Great Fit:

High School Diploma or equivalent

US Citizenship

Interim Secret Clearance required to begin (process starts at offer).

Basic computer literacy for using digital work instructions, timekeeping systems, and task tracking tools.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy in testing and documentation.

Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.

Strong work ethic, dependability, and eagerness to learn and grow in a technical role. Desired:

Experience working with electronic and/or microelectronic components.

Familiarity with ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) procedures and test equipment.

Exposure to RF testing or troubleshooting is a plus.
