Sr. Business Development Executive - Hospitality

Position Overview: An integral component of the Business Development Team, the Sr. Business Development Executive is responsible for representing our company in a business development and sales capacity, in a region and/or business segment. Lead development is the essence of this role. This is accomplished by Identifying leads and project opportunities and engaging with the client and our Business Development team members to turn leads into proposal opportunities.

Participate in presentations / client meetings to support the sales process. Responsibilities (subject to change, modification as needed) are as follows, but not limited to:
Create a targeted lead development plan, coordinated with marketing and the overall Company's strategic plan. Plan must focus on markets with established contacts and prior experience. Project targets need to meet minimum threshold or be of a portfolio nature (i.e. - do not chase $5,000 projects).
Key leader in growing, developing, and maintaining a network of clients and new business.
Marketing of company-wide services to past, current, and potential network of clients.
Build solid and secure business partnerships with key organizations and teams.
Development of long-term customer relationships through the ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that immediately support an understanding of customer needs.
Confer with the marketing team to contribute content to programs, specials, materials, etc. to drive business growth and yearly sales goals. Provide input to the development of company strategy and research and development of new and emerging markets.
Attend industry trade conferences to support targeted practice areas
. Participate meaningfully and provide return on investment from sales activities/trade show attendance, including pre-show scheduling of meetings, tracking of leads, and post show follow up.
Complete the initial sales phase. Work with team members to define the parameters and requirements of each proposal and ensure the transfer of project knowledge and critical success factors from the lead stage thru to the project teams.
Available daily for travel throughout the regional area as needed to facilitate execution of job duties as needed for site visits, client meetings, conference, trade shows, and team interaction. Education/Experience:
Business Development experience with broad network of contacts in target market(s).
Demonstrated performance in sales and business development functions in relevant markets.
Membership and active participation in professional and community organizations as appropriate for the business development activities.
Licensed professional (architect, engineer, designer) preferred, but not required.
Proficient with various computer software and CRM/Project Management tools.
