Overview

CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer Cloud FullStack opening for our client in Columbus, OH.

Location: Columbus, OH (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Duration: 12 months

Duties:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack cloud applications using Java-based technologies

Build and deploy microservices using the Spring Framework and Spring Boot

Implement persistence layers with Hibernate and integrate with relational databases

Manage build processes and project dependencies using Maven

Develop and test applications in integrated development environments such as Eclipse

Containerize and deploy applications using Docker in cloud or hybrid cloud environments

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions

Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes

Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments

Skills:

Proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming

Strong knowledge of Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data)

Experience with Hibernate ORM and database schema design

Familiarity with Eclipse IDE and Maven build automation

Hands-on experience with Docker for containerization and deployment

Understanding of RESTful API design and integration

Ability to work in agile development environments

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Experience:

3+ years of professional experience in full-stack application development

Proven experience in developing and deploying cloud-native applications

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus

Prior experience working with version control tools like Git

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Relevant certifications in cloud platforms or Java development are a plus

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $55/hr to $65/hr. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.)
