Palantir Software Developer

Primary Talent Partners has an open 8 month W2 contract role with a large engine solution company that is fully remote!

The role is paying between $90.00-100.00/hr depending on experience and would be without PTO, benefits, etc (a self funded ACA-compliant healthcare plan will be available to opt-in to) This remote role requires candidates to work Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm EST.

The successful candidate will be part of a team handling customer requests and must possess excellent communication skills, the ability to follow clear directions, and provide guidance where needed.

Requirements Experience with Palantir is a must-have.

A degree in software design or a related software field is required.

Technical Skills Programming Languages: Python: Essential for data transformations, scripting, and leveraging libraries like pandas, NumPy, and PySpark.

SQL: Crucial for querying and managing data within Foundry.

Java: Useful for complex data transformations and integrations.

R: Supported for statistical analysis and data visualization.

Ontology Design: Proficiency in defining object types, link types, and interfaces.

Understanding of semantic elements and kinetic elements (actions, functions) in the Ontology.

Data Integration: Ability to integrate various data sources into Palantir Foundry.

Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

Data Modeling: Proficiency in creating and managing data models.

Understanding of ontology and schema design.

Analytical Workflows: Skills in building and optimizing analytical workflows.

Familiarity with tools like Pipeline Builder and Workshop.

Data Visualization: Competence in creating visualizations to interpret data.

Experience with tools like Contour and Quiver.

Analytical Skills Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex data challenges.

Ability to design and implement solutions for business problems.

Statistical Analysis: Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques.

Ability to perform predictive modeling and analysis.

Soft Skills Communication: Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.

Ability to translate technical findings into actionable insights.

Project Management: Experience in managing projects and coordinating with cross-functional teams.

Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
