Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a Sr AI & Full Stack Engineer for our client in New York, NY.

Location: New York, NY

Duration: 7 months

Duties:

Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Batch.

Build responsive and modern frontend applications using React and TypeScript.

Integrate Generative AI technologies (e.g., GPT, BERT) into enterprise-grade applications.

Develop and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines and orchestrate AI workflows.

Ensure high-quality code through CI/CD pipelines and participate in system architecture decisions.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, cloud-native, and scalable platforms.

Mentor junior engineers and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Skills:

Expertise in Java (Spring Boot, Spring Batch), API-first design, PostgreSQL, Redis, Kafka.

Proficiency in React, TypeScript, and modern frontend development practices.

Experience with Generative AI technologies (OpenAI APIs, LangChain, Hugging Face).

Familiarity with AI/ML model fine-tuning, vector databases, and RAG systems.

Strong skills in system architecture, hybrid cloud deployments (AWS, GCP, Azure), Docker, Kubernetes.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to performance and scalability.

Experience:

7+ years of experience in full stack software development.

2+ years working with Generative AI or large language models in production environments.

Prior experience leading technical initiatives and cross-functional collaboration.

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60.00/hour to $75.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
