Eagle Point School District 9 (EPSD9) is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Mathematics Teacher

to join the team at Eagle Point Middle School. This position plays a vital role in helping students build a strong foundation in math concepts,

critical thinking, and real-world problem-solving—skills that are essential to academic and lifelong success.

Located in the beautiful Rogue Valley of southern Oregon, EPSD9 serves approximately 3,650 students in Eagle Point, White City,

About the Role

The Mathematics Teacher at Eagle Point Middle School will plan, teach, and assess standards-based math instruction

aligned with Oregon state standards and district curriculum. This role requires effective classroom management, a commitment to student growth,

and the ability to foster a learning environment where students feel supported and challenged.

The teacher will design developmentally appropriate instruction to meet the diverse needs of middle school students

while maintaining a classroom atmosphere that is respectful, inclusive, and engaging. Responsibilities include using

formative and summative assessments to monitor progress, collaborating with staff and families, integrating technology

into instruction, and supporting school and district initiatives.

Who We’re Looking For

EPSD9 is seeking an educator who holds a current Oregon Teaching License with appropriate math endorsements

and meets the requirements to be designated as Highly Qualified by the Teacher Standards and Practices Commission (TSPC).

The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of middle school math content, the ability to differentiate instruction,

and a desire to connect mathematical learning to real-world contexts.

Successful candidates will demonstrate strong communication skills, a collaborative mindset,

and a passion for making math meaningful and accessible to all students. The ability to maintain a positive classroom climate,

support students' social-emotional development, and reflect professionalism in all aspects of the role is essential.

Position Title: Mathematics Teacher Placement: Eagle Point Middle School, Eagle Point, OR

Supervisor: Principal or designee

Contract Days: 193/194 days/8 hr per day to begin August 21, 2025

Salary Range: $46,548 - $90,846 per year plus a Master's Stipend of $2,327.

Salary placement will depend upon verified full-time experience and Master's level credits.

Includes an excellent benefits package, including 6% PERS retirement "employee contribution" paid by the District,

and tuition reimbursement available
