Overview:
Functions:
· Leads the building technology team by prioritizing tasks, scheduling maintenance, communicating with staff, and continuously seeking opportunities to improve IT services and support.
· Collaborates proactively with users to understand their needs and resolve IT issues efficiently.
· Collaborates with team members and utilizes available resources, including documentation and system tools, to solve problems and achieve objectives.
· Serves as the onsite IT expert, responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining AV, telecom, computer equipment, and instructional/administrative software.
· Provides excellent customer service by resolving user issues promptly and efficiently. Escalates complex issues to appropriate teams to ensure timely resolution.
· Builds positive relationships with end-users by providing timely and effective communication through ticket updates, email notifications, and in-person interactions.
· Performs system administration tasks to ensure data security and integrity, including user provisioning, access control, password management, and system monitoring.
· Maintains accurate and up-to-date inventory records of IT assets
· Promotes a professional image by maintaining an organized workspace.

Physical Demands:
· The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions requires the following physical demands: moderate lifting (no more than 50 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds), carrying, pushing, and/or pulling; some climbing and balancing; some stopping, kneeling, crouching and/or crawling. Generally the job requires 30% sitting, 35% walking and 35% standing.
Qualification
Technical Knowledge:
· Windows 10, Google's G Suite, and desktops, laptops, and Chromebooks in a networked environment (wired and wireless)
Skills and Abilities:
· Prioritizing and executing multiple technical tasks while managing concurrent activities.
· Flexibility in working and communicating with a variety of individuals and/or groups with varied cultural and educational levels.
· Proficient writing and verbal communication abilities and strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.
Education and Experience:
· High School diploma or GED and sixty credit hours of college level classes (technical classes related to computer technology is a plus) or two years of experience in the support and maintenance of personal computers, printers, and print servers in an enterprise network environment.
Terms of Employment:
260 days per year
8 hours per day

Grade 17 on Classified Staff Salary Matrix $23.76-28.50 based on experience
An additional $1 per hour will be paid from referendum funds
