Human Resources Internship - Summer

Large manufacturing company in Lebanon seeks student interested in a winter/spring internship. This paid work opportunity will run from January to April and beyond.

Hendrickson is the leading global manufacturer and supplier of heavy-duty mechanical, elastomeric and air suspensions; integrated and non-integrated axle systems; parabolic and multi-leaf springs; bumper and trim components to the global commercial transportation system.

The incumbent will perform a variety of administrative duties in support of the Human Resources department and assist in various functions such as:

· Training

· Employment

· Employee Relations

· Recordkeeping / Records Retention

Educational Requirements: Qualified individuals will be pursing a degree in Human Resources Management (or related) having completed some relevant coursework and possessing a GPA of > 3.0 Completed coursework in at least four HR courses is preferred.

Other Requirements:

· Prior administrative work experience desired

· Possess an understanding of the various aspects of HR

· Have a basic knowledge of employment-related laws

· Ability to efficiently work independently and as a member of a team

· Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing

· Demonstrate a strong work ethic

· Able to work up to forty hours per week, MON-FRI, 8:00am – 4:30pm with flexibility
