Now Hiring: Audio Visual (AV) Technician & AV Lead Installer
Location: Aurora, CO
Shift: Monday-Friday (6am-3pm), 40+ hours w/ overtime potential
Compensation:
AV Technician: $25–$35/hour
AV Lead Installer: $32–$45/hour
(Compensation based on experience, certifications, and qualifications)

Audio Visual Technician
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced AV Technician to assist in the installation, setup, and operation of audio-visual systems for commercial projects, including events, corporate spaces, and educational facilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical precision, adaptability, and professionalism while working independently or in a team environment.
Essential Job Functions:
Set up and install equipment such as microphones, speakers, video screens, projectors, monitors, and soundboards
Install and operate spotlights and custom theatrical lighting systems
Monitor sound feeds to ensure high-quality output
Diagnose and resolve media system problems in real-time
Test, route, and troubleshoot audio and video signal paths
Coordinate installations with programmers and field engineers, following through the commissioning process
Route digital audio and video sources to appropriate displays
Clean, store, and maintain AV equipment and cables
Compress and digitize audio and video content for secure storage
Work with computer-controlled AV, lighting, and shade systems
Maintain accurate equipment inventory
Represent the company professionally in appearance and conduct while on-site
Maintain a high level of integrity and responsiveness while serving high-profile customers across regions
Must be willing and able to travel frequently for installations and service calls
Audio Visual Lead Installer
Summary:
This is a senior-level, field-based role reporting to the Project Manager. The AV Lead Installer oversees commercial installations, manages teams of technicians, and ensures all projects are completed according to scope, standards, and client expectations. This role is ideal for someone who brings both deep technical knowledge and strong leadership skills to complex AV environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and actively participate in the layout and installation of AV systems including displays, control systems, sound masking, and paging
Manage customer warranty and service calls post-installation
Lead the planning and wiring of conference room and classroom control systems
Turn up, test, and commission full AV systems to completion
Deliver client training following installation
Supervise and guide installation technicians to meet project goals
Maintain material inventory and job site readiness
Participate in multiple ongoing projects simultaneously
Provide input to improve processes, quality standards, and technician performance
Participate in company-wide AV leadership and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Travel to client sites as required, representing the company with professionalism
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience with AV systems in commercial construction
Must hold 3 or more certifications such as: Crestron, Extron, BiAmp, Dante, QSC, Shure, Symetrix, Epson, Da-Lite, Crown, Lencore, etc.
Ability to work efficiently with computer-controlled AV and lighting systems
Proven experience managing installation teams and coordinating with project managers
Strong technical troubleshooting and communication skills
Professional appearance and behavior at all times
Valid driver’s license and availability for regional and national travel
