Job Description

Legacy Outdoor Services is seeking an experienced and dependable Fencing Crew Lead to oversee the installation of a wide range of fencing types including wood picket, corral, chain link, wrought iron, and barbed wire. This individual will be responsible for leading a crew, ensuring each project is completed with precision, efficiency, and quality. Candidates must have at least 3 years of hands-on fencing experience and a strong understanding of proper installation techniques.Compensation:

$18 - $20 hourlyResponsibilities:

Lead a fencing crew on residential and commercial job sites from start to finish

Interpret and execute fence layouts based on site conditions and provided plans

Ensure all necessary tools, equipment, and materials are available and organized each day

Set posts accurately for proper alignment and structural integrity

Install runners, nail pickets, and assemble all fencing components to spec

Pull and stretch wire (chain link and barbed) to correct tension and appearance

Maintain jobsite cleanliness and safety standards

Communicate clearly with project managers and other team members about progress and needs

Monitor crew productivity and job timelines to ensure projects stay within budget

Inspect final installations for quality and customer satisfactionQualifications:

Minimum of 3 years of fencing installation experience, including multiple fence types

Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage a crew and delegate tasks

Proficiency in reading site plans and laying out fence lines

Strong understanding of installation best practices and construction safety

Ability to lift heavy materials, operate basic construction tools, and work outdoors in varying conditions

Dependable, organized, and able to maintain a consistent project schedule

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
