Terminix Service, Inc. is looking to hire a full-time AS400 Programmer to join our team in Columbia SC. The .NET Developer is involved in providing support to build and maintain applications. Note: Please note that this is a hybrid role, which requires commuting to our corporate office located in Columbia, SC approximately 2 days per week.

The AS400 Programmer is involved in the full systems life cycle for application software to plan and create specialized software applications. This is an excellent opportunity for a person with enterprise level experience looking to work for a stable company in a dynamic environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

Collaborates with business analysts and team members to understand business and user requirements that drive the analysis and creative design of technical solutions

Develops code and designs software applications based on user specifications.

Modifies existing software to correct errors or improve performance.

Monitors and assists with software testing and validation procedures and programming

Coding for product maintenance and support

Ensuring solutions are aligned with business and IT strategies and standards

Applying experience and knowledge to develop quality technical solutions

Collaborates with systems analysts, engineers, and programmers to design systems to support applications.

Advises clients on software maintenance.

Performs other duties as assigned.
