What You’ll Do:
Operate with Excellence: You’ll be at the helm of Safe Site equipment, ensuring every task is carried out safely and professionally.
Stay on Top of the Paperwork: Proper documentation is key. You’ll handle all necessary local, state, federal, company, and customer paperwork clearly, legibly, and in a timely manner.
Lead the Way: As a Hydrovac Operator, you'll guide your team to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
Master the Hydrovac: You'll be in control of driving and operating all Hydrovac functions.
Know the Rules: You’ll have a solid understanding of DOT regulations and always ensure compliance.
Be the Troubleshooter: When the equipment needs minor repairs or troubleshooting, you’ll be ready to step in and get things back on track.
The Details:
Flexibility is Key: This job has typical construction hours, meaning some weeks might require less than 40 hours, while others could require 50+ hours. We're a 24/7 operation, so you must be ready for anything.
Travel Ready: Be prepared for short periods of travel as needed.
Pay Range: The pay range can be negotiated depending on experience.Requirements:
What We’re Looking For:
Safety First: You must possess and exhibit a strong safety acumen, be able to wear all required PPE, and work in all weather conditions, including noisy environments.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to work in all outdoor elements for extended periods, climb ladders, work from stationary platforms at elevated heights, and repeatedly lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Confined Space Entry may be required for some clients to accomplish tasks.
Driving Credentials: A Class B CDL with Airbrake and Tanker Endorsement is required.
Experience Matters: Previous hydrovac, trucking, vacuum truck, or industrial experience is preferred. A minimum of 12 months of heavy equipment operation experience is preferred. Experience in underground utility and/or construction is also a plus.
Drug-Free Workplace: Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screen.
