Description:
As a Room Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that guest rooms are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness and comfort. You will be responsible for cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, changing linens, and restocking amenities in the guest rooms. You will also need to be able to interact with guests in a friendly and professional manner, and be able to handle any special requests that they may have. If you are someone who is highly organized, pays attention to detail, and enjoys providing excellent customer service, then this role is perfect for you!
Job Responsibilities
Clean and stock guest rooms, ensuring that all amenities and supplies are in place
Ensure that all safety and security standards are met
Change and replenish bed linens, towels, and guest amenities
Vacuum carpets, dust furniture, and polish fixtures
Inspect all furniture and fixtures for cleanliness and repair
Report any maintenance issues to the supervisor
Respond to guests’ requests in a timely and professional manner
Follow all housekeeping policies and procedures
Monitor supply levels and restock items as required
Adhere to safety and hygiene regulations

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Ability to push and pull up to 150 lbs
Ability to stand and move for extended periods of time
Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel
Ability to reach above and below shoulder level
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
Ability to understand and execute cleaning standards
Ability to use basic cleaning equipment
Ability to problem solve and troubleshoot
Flexible with scheduling
High school diploma or GEDRequirements:
