CNC Programmer

CTR Group is seeking several CNC Programmers in Newport News, VA. Immediate openings and urgently hiring!

Key Responsibilities

Write and modify CNC programs for machining operations.

Interpret technical blueprints and specifications.

Select appropriate tools, materials, and machine settings.

Conduct test runs and troubleshoot programming issues.

Collaborate with engineers and machinists to refine processes.

Maintain documentation for machine specifications and programming notes.

Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Experience with HAAS Machining Centers

Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED and 4-6 years of experience in CNC programming

Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.

Strong understanding of blueprints, materials, and machining processes.

Experience with CNC mills, lathes, and other machinery.

Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
