The Data Entry Typist will be responsible for inputting a high volume of data from various sources into the companys digital systems with accuracy and efficiency. This role requires excellent typing speed, attention to detail, and the ability to handle confidential information responsibly.Key Responsibilities

Accurately enter data from source documents into prescribed databases, files, and forms.

Verify the accuracy of data by comparing it to source documents.

Review and correct data entry errors or duplicate entries.

Maintain and update records for future data entry.

Maintain data integrity and confidentiality.

Prepare and sort documents for data entry.

Respond to requests for information and access relevant files.

Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.

Assist with other clerical duties as assigned.Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus.

Proven experience as a data entry clerk, typist, or similar position.

Fast typing skills (40+ WPM preferred) with a high level of accuracy.

Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel and Word) and data entry software.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.Preferred Skills

Familiarity with office equipment (e.g., scanner, printer).

Experience working with confidential documents.
