Company Overview
Plumb provides Family Office Accounting/Bill Pay services (PlumbBillPay.com). We have 50+ employees. Our 13 Principles are who we are, or at least who we strive to be, ( Our clients are Ultra High Net Worth Individuals around the United States and some abroad. We are NOT Financial Advisors, rather, we tend to do all of the back-office accounting services and provide our clients and their advisors reporting and services.
Position Overview
At the core of the position is finding great candidates that will thrive in our culture for many years. A successful candidate will have a combination of a sales and account manager personality since you will be positioning (aka selling), Plumb to candidates. The rest of this commentary is meant to provide an overview of our organization, further details about this role, and additional information about other team members you will be work in partnership with.

Company – Overall the goal of this position will be to find candidates that will not only thrive in our culture, but will enhance it, contribute to it, and be a part of our evolution.
Divisions and Teams – Each division has their technical needs to serve their clients, whether those clients are internal or external. Understanding the technical requirements of our Family Office Accounting Division vs. Bill Pay Division is essential. This doesn’t happen on day one, but over time this is very important.
Positions – In addition to technical requirements, understanding the typical personas that will typically be successful in a position is important.
Role Outline:
Position Plumb in a positive yet balanced manner to candidates.
Be a Brand Ambassador for Plumb. Exemplify our culture to candidates and determine if this is a community they will excel in.
Utilize and manage our Applicant Tracking System.
Market Plumb to potential candidates via social media, recruitment sites, and other posting / media sites in collaboration with the Marketing Manager where applicable.
Onboard new team members and oversee their transition to their supervisor and team.
Collaborate with our App Liaison and Developer and Supervisors to manage and create new Plumb training content for our LMS (Learning Management System).
Other Intangibles and collaboration:
Marketing Manager: Work with our marketing manager to understand our brand and ensure that our messaging to candidates is consistent with who we are.
President / Division Leaders: As our company scales, our positions will evolve.
For example, we are seeing the need to create a “Customer Service” type position. It is important to understand how these new roles alter our org chart and to understand the types of candidates we need to fill these positions.
Internal Accounting Manager/Human Resources: As we grow, we need to continually modify how we present our company to candidates and how we recruit, grow, and keep great people in their career.
Job Description – Future / Bigger Picture
We need someone that understands (a) who we are, (b) what we can be, (c) how to contribute to that vision, and (d) how to help execute that vision. As we grow, we will continue to try new things, we will continue to make mistakes, and/but we WILL get better. Who we find to join our team in the coming years has such a big impact on how well we grow, how good our culture is, and the diversity of our team. Skillsets, Tools, and Recommended Requirements
Ideally, we are looking for a candidate who can handle both the task management aspects of getting the job done, along with the ability to understand our overall internal brand and become a leader and resource to the team members and managers going forward. Here are the primary skillsets and characteristics a successful candidate will possess:
Experience using ATS and other recruiting tools (i.e. CATS, ADP WFN, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, etc.)
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
2+ years’ experience in recruiting for multiple roles at a time.
Experience (or ability) to work in a high-growth business environment.
Organized, detail-oriented, and ability to be a task master if/when necessary.
Strong collaborator who communicates effectively
Business mindset and understanding of their role here at Plumb.
Flexible/adaptable – able to roll with the punches
Problem-solving mindset, tackles problems with possible solutions
Discreet and comfortable working with confidential information
Extremely proactive and able to work with a sense of urgency
Motivated by helping others succeed
A positive, can-do attitude
HR experience a plus, but not required
Next Steps
Compensation Range: The compensation range is $69k-$75k. The position will have a base salary with a bonus that is based on a combination of positions hired and goals met. The position will be onsite with the flexibility to become hybrid after a review period.
