Scotia Engineering, Inc. is a growing precision machine shop in Santa Fe Springs serving aerospace and industrial customers. We’re a small team that values quality, autonomy, and efficiency. As we grow, we’re looking for an experienced CNC Programmer/Operator who can take jobs from blueprint to finished part.
You'll play a key role in helping us deliver precision work to some of the most demanding customers in aerospace and industrial sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
Program and operate CNC mills and lathes
Perform complete setups including tooling, offsets, and program edits
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and GD&T
Perform in-process and first-article inspections using micrometers, calipers, and gauges
Work directly with machinists and team leads to improve processes
Help document setups for repeatability and continuous improvement
Preferred Qualifications:
5–7 years of CNC programming and setup experience
Proficient with G-code and CNC machine setup
Experience with Haas, Fanuc, or other mainstream control systems
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Aerospace or tight-tolerance experience is a plus
Ability to read, inspect, and verify part quality independently
Work Environment:
Day shift: Monday to Friday (~40–45 hours/week)
Hands-on, small-team setting

Compensation:
$25–$35 per hour (DOE)
