Job Description: As a Detail-Oriented Customer Service Representative at Expand International, you will play a pivotal role in managing customer interactions, order entry, project management and ensure the highest level of service in a fast-paced and organized manner. This position offers a growth path toward inside sales responsibilities for candidates who demonstrate aptitude and interest. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Interaction: Engage with customers via phone, email, chat, exuding energy and enthusiasm, while providing detailed and accurate information and assistance. Build relationships that create opportunities for additional product recommendations.
Order Entry & Enhancement: Efficiently and accurately enter customer orders into the system, identifying opportunities to suggest complementary products or services that meet customer needs.
Consultative Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer concerns while uncovering business challenges where our additional solutions could provide value.
Documentation & Lead Qualification: Maintain thorough records of customer interactions in our CRM system, noting potential sales opportunities and customer needs for future follow-up.
Product/Service Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our products/services to effectively communicate value propositions and benefits to customers.
Needs Analysis: Proactively engage customers in discussions about their business requirements to identify potential needs our solutions can address.
Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations, leaving no detail overlooked, even in a high-speed environment.
Sales Development: Participate in sales training sessions, gradually take on responsibility for upselling and cross-selling to existing customers and assist with converting inquiries into sales opportunities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in [related field] is a plus.
Proven customer service experience with a strong focus on detail and efficiency.
Exceptional attention to detail, with a commitment to delivering error-free work.
High energy, enthusiasm, and adaptability to work in a fast-paced setting.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with precision.
Proficiency in computer usage, including customer service software and CRM systems.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Interest in developing sales skills with a natural curiosity about customer needs.
