Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) – Job Description
Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skill-based assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
BCBA will design and implement behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles.
Supervise and train Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and other staff in the implementation of ABA strategies.
Monitor client progress through data analysis, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
BCBA collaborates with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to promote consistency across environments.
Provide parent and caregiver training to support behavior management and skill generalization.
Ensure compliance with ethical standards set by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and HIPAA regulations.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of assessments, session notes, and progress reports.
Stay current on best practices, continuing education requirements, and local/state regulations.
Participate in team meetings and clinical reviews to ensure quality service delivery.
Support clients across various settings, including homes, schools, clinics, and community environments.
Promote a positive, client-centered approach that enhances independence and quality of life.
