Warehouse & Customer Service Lead – Green Bay, WI
Job Summary:
This role combines the responsibilities of our branch in both the warehouse and customer service execution. This individual will lead these aspects while reporting to our branch manager. This associate will assist customers via phone, email, quotes with inquiries or concerns about our products to provide the best possible customer service experience. This role will also provide support for the sales team on pricing, data, and projects. This associate will also be responsible for the day-to-day warehouse execution in shipping and receiving.
Roles/Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Promptly respond to customer queries via phone, email, data transfers.
Understand a sense of emergency when needed.
Escalate complaints or issues that need additional attention.
Resourceful in finding and locating product information to familiarize yourself with these products.
Assist customers with solving problems and involving co-workers, managers, or vendors to find the best solutions.
Warehouse:
· Must be Forklift certified to operate for shipping and receiving of product.
· Ability to correctly process customer orders timely and prepare transfers between branches for both LTL and small package.
· Unload and Receive parts and equipment timely
§ Scan in items
§ Move and store materials in assigned locations
§ Any items moved to a different location, need to be documented and updated in FACTS
· Prepare freight BOL paperwork and work with freight companies
o Includes LTLs, 3rd party billing
· Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
Attributes/Skills that are Helpful in Position:
· Previous experience in customer service and the food service industry is preferred.
· Attention to detail and proven ability to follow standard procedures.
· Ability to prioritize work and balance multiple projects, requests, and deadlines.
· Proficient in MS Office and Excel.
· Superb verbal and written communication skills
· Sound judgment and excellent problem-solving skills.
· Strong interpersonal skills.
· Highly organized and ability to multi-task.
· Work collaboratively with others at branch levels, sales, management.
· Has a positive and professional work attitude with the ability to build relationships with customers and co-workers.
