Job Description
Seeking Dependable and Proactive Grounds and Maintenance Technician who takes full ownership of the property and ensures it remains clean, functional, safe, and visually appealing at all times. This is not just a landscaping job—this is about responsibility, awareness, and delivering noticeable results.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform weekly landscape maintenance: weeding, trimming, cleaning, and yard upkeep—not just blowing leaves.
Ensure the property is always aesthetically pleasing, well-groomed, and visually clean.
Monitor and maintain sprinkler and irrigation systems to ensure proper watering.
Prioritize tasks wisely using strong time management and common sense—know what comes first.
Complete minor electrical, plumbing, and general repairs on buildings and grounds.
Identify safety hazards and correct them immediately; stay proactive about safety at all times.
Follow county codes and regulations to maintain property standards and avoid violations.
Keep all tools and equipment clean, maintained, and stored properly after each use—no tools left out.
Maintain a clutter-free and professional appearance of all work areas.
Submit weekly reports to the property owner with:
A summary of tasks completed
Any concerns, suggestions, or maintenance needs
Updates on any ongoing projects
Your work should be evident through consistently well-kept grounds, no ongoing issues, no tenant or customer complaints, and no code or legal violations.
Requirements:
Strong common sense, critical thinking, and task prioritization.
Must be self-motivated, observant, and able to work independently.
Must have and use your own tools.
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience in landscaping, property maintenance, and light repairs preferred.
Working knowledge of local codes, safety regulations, and proper maintenance practices.
Must be accountable and complete work efficiently—no stretching short tasks into full days.
This is a role for someone who genuinely cares about the property and takes initiative without needing reminders. If you’re organized, reliable, and take pride in both how things work and how they look, we want to hear from you.
