We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for all activities within the warehouse area including but not limited to coordinating transportation for all products; supervising employees within the warehouse, ensuring the timely shipments of customer products; managing work schedules and policies within the scope of the department.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate transportation for products using Less Than Load (LTL), truckload and or air shipment

Ensure the timely shipments of Customer Products

Responsible for all incoming and outgoing materials

Manage work schedules, maintain policies within the scope of the department

Arrange for LTL, truckload, and air shipments of products

Coordinate intra-site/drop-trailer movements

Coordinate receipt of bulk materials

Manage/Supervise Warehouse Employees

Manage Warehouse planning to meet Customer ship date requirements, cycle counts, finished goods inventory, physical inventory accuracy

Manage warehouse staffing to meet plant and multi shift needs

Manage return goods RMA’s (Return Material Authorization) in coordination with Quality Control

Support packaging modifications

Provide support and participate in cost reduction projects as assigned

Establish procedures with the department for shipments, receipts, production receipts, cycle counts

Establish daily work assignments of receiving and shipping personnel to meet incoming requirements

Cross train warehouse personnel on shipping, receiving, labeling requirements, production receipts, cycle counts, shipping and packaging

Daily work assignments of shipping personnel to meet put away and pick plan requirements

Work closely with Operations, Customer Care, and occasionally the Sales team to complete customer orders and maintain/exceed expectations

Participate in Safety Program

Back up for Safety Manager regarding Hazardous Waste Shipments

Other duties as assigned

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an advanced understanding of customer needs.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.

Microsoft Office Suite proficiency

Computer Knowledge: Intermediate

ERP Experience

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or GED required

Warehouse leadership capacity in a manufacturing environment

3-5 years in manufacturing environment

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift 50 pounds as needed.

Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.

Frequently positions self to use/maintain personal protective equipment.

Comfortable with working in a manufacturing environment alongside machines, equipment, etc. Travel Requirements:

Time spent away from home or typical office location.
