Job Title: Quality Assurance Project Specialist
Location: Columbus OH, 43219- Onsite
Duration: 12 months (Can be converted full time)
Shift/Schedule: 1st Shift/M-F
Pay Rate/Range: $24.00/hr on w/o benefits
Job Description:
Duties: Quality agreements, supplier change notices (assess these for review and approval), supplier communication, will work with suppliers to confirm their food safety certifications yearly for regulatory, log and track supplier documentation for compliance.
Skills:
Microsoft Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word)
This role requires excellent analytical skills (understand quality protocols and resolve quality issues)
Previous quality background
Previous food industry (nutrition, safety) or Pharma background is preferred
Power BI (good to have but not required)
Excellent verbal and written communication
Detail oriented
A keen eye for detail
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Self-starter/needs little supervision
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred as it is needed to become a full-time employee in the future.
Preferred field in Food Science or some Life Science.
Manager will also look at candidates with other Science, Engineering, and Math degrees.
