We’re a small company and our current drivers have been with us since the beginning. They stay with us because our dispatchers are respectful of their time and don't force any dispatches on them.
We want to make money but we're not greedy. We believe we don't need to nickel and dime our drivers, or cheat them to be successful. We pay 70% of the actual broker rate and certain accessorials, and we pay you 100% of the fuel surcharge and detention.
Our work is mostly 53' intermodal containers and reefers. We have local work as well as regional work (IL IN IA WI MI OH KY) that gets you home every night. We've got an excellent reputation with our brokers who are recognized names.
If we sound too good to be true, you're right, there IS a catch. We don't hire just anyone who has a truck. We have turned drivers away because we hire only safe, punctual drivers with no less than 5 years of CDL experience, have their own plates, and who follow USDOT guidelines.
We expect a well-maintained truck that will pass a roadside inspection; clear communication while on duty; paperwork and receipts submitted electronically and on time - it's pretty easy - just take a good picture.
