Maintenance Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the maintenance department, implements preventative maintenance programs, serves as a project manager for maintenance/construction/fabrication projects as necessary to provide continuous improvement to the facility. The Maintenance Supervisor will ensure the facility and all equipment are maintained and operating at peak efficiency.

Daily Tasks

Issue work assignments to maintenance staff.

Maintain calibration schedules for flow meters, scales, temperature recorders and PH meters.

Lead and coordinate installation of new equipment.

Coordinate PM programs to maintain equipment with service contractors such as A/C, refrigeration, boiler, and forklifts.

Request quotes for potential projects.

Coordinate inspections for permits on boiler, back flow prevention, and air compressor tanks.

Responsible for Storm Water Samples.

Perform responsibilities of Maintenance Technician as needed.

Follow GMP's and food safety policies and procedures.

·What You Need To Succeed

Maintenance Supervision experience (2 years minimum).

Basic electrical, fabricating, welding, plumbing, refrigeration, and troubleshooting skills.

Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues.

Detail oriented and follow instructions without fail.

PPE: Steel Toed Slip Resistant Leather Boots and Lift Belt.

Ability to lift 45lbs.

Bending/Flexing/Gripping with both hands.

Ability to stand/walk for 8 hours.

Ability to read, write, and understand English.
