Machinist

Job Description

The Machinist is tasked with the machining, rework, and inspection of components used to assemble slides and spindles and manufactured precision parts.

Machine components parts for assembly or precision parts using CNC machining centers or manual machines

Work from blueprints, drawings, sketches, programs, numerical control data and operation sheets.

Edit programs understanding machine codes

Change programs for faster cycle time and performs basic programming. Ability to program from scratch a plus.

Requirements:

Mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn or 3 - 5 years experience in operating manual and CNC Machining Center.

Must have excellent mechanical abilities.

Ability to read blueprints and precision measuring devices.

Ability to program a plus.
