Salary: $16+ Based on experience

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Punch Press Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry-related operations and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. This role involves operating and setting up punch presses, handling materials, performing inspections, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

Set Up and operate punch presses, slide- and servo-feed, coil straighteners, and related equipment.

Set up dies and tooling to ensure quality production.

Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and job control plans.

Utilize various measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, and height gauges.

Understand and implement safety procedures related to punch press operations.

Load materials, remove scrap, and perform lifting/handling duties as required.

Maintain accurate records, including forms, tags, and time sheets.

Perform inspections at required intervals and document findings.

Operate lift trucks and handle large containers safely.

Utilize proper coil handling procedures and safety equipment.

Qualifications & Skills:

Prior experience with punch press operations and related equipment.

Familiarity with progressive dies, tooling, and coil handling.

Basic math skills and ability to read technical documents.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Physical ability to withstand prolonged standing, frequent bending, lifting, and reaching.

Experience operating tow motors and lift trucks is a plus.Company Description
