Position Overview:
Seeking a results-driven Inside Sales Lead with a solid background in logistics industry. This role leads the Inside Sales team, ensuring timely preparation of tenders and quotes, while actively supporting the Outside Sales team. Strong coordination and communication between departments is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and manage customer quotations to promote services within assigned territories.
Negotiate rates and terms with suppliers in alignment with commercial objectives.
Ensure accurate entry and maintenance of quotations and services in internal systems.
Track and report on offer performance and customer/carrier activity.
Facilitate internal communication regarding arrangements with clients and suppliers.
Meet department deadlines and file rates with relevant regulatory agencies.
Provide coverage for team members as needed and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
2–3 years of industry experience.
3–4 years of supervisory or managerial experience.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple tasks.
Collaborative leadership style with a focus on team performance.
Strong communication skills and ability to engage across all organizational levels.
Proactive in identifying and implementing process improvements.
