Reputable Commercial General Contractor located in the Marietta area providing construction ground-up and renovation services. They seek to hire a Project Manager to work with their project management team on projects to include healthcare, education, high-end restaurants, high-end retail, high-end hospitality, commercial office, mixed-use, and specialty markets. RESPONSIBILITIES...

Project management experience in related projects

Proficiency in all construction project management responsibilities and functions

Ability to lead, direct, and train Assistant PM's

Ability to analyze, manage and mitigate risks

Preparation of Financial Forecasts

Preparation of Schedules

Ensure adherence to Schedules

Manage Request for Information (RFI) process

Manage Submittal process

Prepare Job Meeting agendas

Approve Pay Applications/Invoices from Subcontractors

Review Pay Applications to Owners

Review drawing changes to determine impact on schedule and/or job cost

Approve Owner and Subcontractor Change Requests and Change Orders

Provide prompt responses to all team members

Maintain quality control throughout projects

Determine timing of Punch List walk-throughs

Negotiate Subcontractor buyout opportunities

Bid new projects as assigned

Organize and facilitate OAC meetings

QUALIFICATIONS...

Prior project management experience required

Ability to read and understand blueprints and specifications

Cost projections and budgeting

Effectively communicate with clients, management and subcontractors

Detail-oriented

Sound judgment

Strong work ethic and goal-oriented

Proficiency in the use of MS Office and MS Project, Timberline Project Management, Sage Estimating, and ProCore
