General Nurse Practitioner in Riverside CA

- Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner AGACNP for trauma and acute care surgery service- Position type: Full time- Shift length: 12 hours, 7 am " 7 pm- Shift type: Day- Base Pay: Commensurate with experience (For 2-4 year experience, It's $74.55 per hour with $100 hour night differential)- 475+ bed Level I trauma center- In-house trauma surgeons and nurse practitioners 24 hrs- The role of the APP is autonomous, dynamic, and fast-paced- Clinically manage trauma and acute care surgery patients through the continuum of care; rounding, completing discharges, seeing new surgical consults, and responding to traumas in the ED- Requires independent decision-making abilities and collaboration with rotating resident physicians, attending surgeons, subspecialty consultants, and multidisciplinary team of experts- Attend surgical clinic every Wednesday to evaluate post operative patients with census ranging from 10-12 patients Experience Requirements:- Minimum (1) year of inpatient NP experience strongly preferred (preferably in Trauma Surgery)- Will consider new graduates with RN experience in Trauma/Surgical ICUEducation Requirements:- MSN- Graduate of an accredited NP program approved by the BRN- DEA current- ACLS/BLS- ATLS upon hireExcellent location in proximity to mountains, coast, and everything Los Angeles has to offer!
