Job Title: Design and Production Manager

Reporting Relationship:

Unit: IWU - Marion

Department: School of Theology & Ministry - IWU Marion

Campus Location: Noggle Christian Ministries, Marion IN

Summary of Position: The Design and Production Manager is responsible for creating both digital and print visualizations that convey accurate messaging for the Imaginarium. This person will work closely with the Program Directors to create communication strategies for various initiatives. The Design and Production Manager will provide oversight to resource development, production and sales, and will play point on podcasts, social media presence, and video content. This person will also play a key role in supporting and highlighting the work of 300 grantees in the Strengthening Ministry with Children Coordination Program. This position involves a good deal of interaction with other organizations and requires some travel.

Duties and Responsibilities

Work alongside Imaginarium staff to create a communication strategy for the various initiatives within Imaginarium

Work with a wide range of media and graphic design software

Work with subcontractors to create engaging video content highlighting best practices in communication across digital platforms

Manage and organize a content calendar to ensure timely delivery of high-quality materials

Adhere to brand guidelines and standards to ensure consistency and coherence across all visual content

Assist the Executive Director in the planning of the Coordination Program Annual Gathering

Collaboration with other Endowment Coordination Program leaders/supporting and attending other Endowment events as needed

Oversee social media and website presence

Participate in marketing meetings with Executive Director and Director of Strategic Communication and marketing consultants

Attend Imaginarium staff meetings

Write an annual report describing the past year’s work

Qualifications: According to Indiana Wesleyan University employment policy all employees must possess a strong Christian commitment and adhere to the standards outlined in the IWU Community Lifestyle Statement.

Education

Bachelor’s degree preferred with emphasis on communication, visual arts, or graphic design

Experience

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in related work

Experience with both print and digital media

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures

Proven experience in video production, including filming, editing, and post-production.

Strong portfolio showcasing work

Required Skills

Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, InDesign, etc)

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Passion for making a positive impact through creative storytelling

Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics and design

Time management and organizational skills

Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, print and web design

Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work well within a team environment
