The Tableau Developer Sr will be part of the Business Intelligence and Data, Modern Delivery team in the Single-Family line of business helping to transform the way in which Freddie Mac does business!

We are looking for a versatile Tableau Developer who is energetic, brings fresh and creative perspective with constant collaboration and out of box thinking. The ideal candidate is a quick learner, independent, flexible, comfortable working in an agile and iterative product delivery environment and has a customer centric mind set.

We are a BI and Analytics team that optimizes and visualizes data in a cost-effective and speed-to-market manner to serve various data analytics and reporting needs. We drive strategies and influence roadmaps to modernize and adopt Cloud technologies.

Your Impact:

As a Tableau Developer Senior, you will:

Collaborate with business users to understand their data needs and translate them into effective visualizations

Analyze data; define, build, and tune SQL queries

Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards using Tableau

Optimize data extraction and visualizations for performance and usability

Champion dashboard quality, consistency, usability and reliability by documenting and applying best practices to design and development

Provide training and support to end-users on Tableau tools and best practices

Develop and implement data governance policies

Implement development, testing and deployment automation

Develop and implement BI and cloud migration roadmaps

Document and implement Production support and Maintenance policies

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred

5-7 years of Tableau development experience

Expert knowledge of Tableau Desktop, Server, Prep

Expert knowledge of Tableau software optimization and configuration

Expert SQL skills with strong experience in data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL)

Strong knowledge of Data Marts, Data Modeling and Dimensional Modeling techniques

Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and organizational skills

Strong communication and influencing skills

Attention to detail and ability to coordinate multiple tasks, set priorities and meet deadlines

Keys to Success in this Role:

Flexible and versatile to adapt to any new environment and work on any project

Work independently and in a collaborative team setting

Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems

This position has an annualized market-based salary range of $127,000 - $191,000 and is eligible to participate in the annual incentive program. The final salary offered will generally fall within this range and is dependent on various factors including but not limited to the responsibilities of the position, experience, skill set, internal pay equity and other relevant qualifications of the applicant.
