Position Overview

Quotient is seeking a UI/UX Designer & Front-End Developer to join our growing team. This role presents an exciting growth opportunity, allowing the right candidate to take ownership of multiple projects across the company. The ideal candidate will blend design expertise with technical front-end development skills, ensuring engaging user experiences across many different digital platforms on behalf of our customers. Candidates should possess a keen eye for creating meaningful UI/UX solutions across a variety of websites and applications. Candidates must possess knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, as well as front-end development frameworks and tools. Candidates must also possess experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as Drupal, WordPress, or AEM.

We support websites and web applications using a variety of technical stacks include PHP, Python, Java, and C#. Candidates with experience in one or more programming languages are highly desired.

Day-To-Day Duties and Responsibilities

Be a leading advocate for creating engaging UI/UX solutions, helping to advise our developers in best practices, code reviews, and architectural decisions.

Lead front-end development of responsive, high-performance web applications, ensuring deadlines and quality standards are met across various initiatives.

Work directly with our customers to refine interfaces, conduct usability testing, and implement intuitive, user-centric designs.

Develop and deploy UI/UX solutions for web applications, adhering to Section 508 and WCAG guidelines.

Design and implement front-end components leveraging React, Angular, or Vue.js for seamless integration and dynamic user experiences.

Stay up to date with the latest advancements in UI/UX design, accessibility standards, and front-end development to drive innovation and best practices.

Leverage tools such as Figma or Adode XD to create and maintain design systems for our projects.

Minimum Qualifications

Possesses 4 or more years’ experience as a Front End Developer with UI/UX design focus

Demonstrates the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently

Demonstrated experience with WordPress or Drupal theming and customization

Proficiency in modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js with the ability to problem solve and debugging existing applications

Must have expertise in UI/UX design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or Sketch, with a strong ability to create intuitive and visually compelling user interfaces

Experience working with the Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office is essential

Familiar with Git and source control processes

Familiar with WCAG guidelines

Impeccable attention to detail

Comfortable working independently, while also being a team player

Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves):

Experience guiding and mentoring development teams on UI/UX

Experience with Storybook and Sevelt

Expertise in improving front-end performance, accessibility, and responsiveness and educating others on best practice

Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and GraphQL for seamless data exchange

Experience with server-side programming (PHP, C#.Net, Java, JavaScript, or Python) is a big plus
