Are you ready to take on the dynamic world of precast structure design? As a Precast Structure Drafting Specialist, your expertise in computer-assisted drafting software will be pivotal in preparing detailed shop tickets for diverse precast structures. Collaborate with our innovative design team to support day-to-day design functions and ensure flawless execution of projects. Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and plot erection details and drawings with precision.

Discuss priorities with your Project Lead and review intricate erection drawings.

Utilize AutoCAD to develop shop cards conforming to established detailing standards.

Guarantee a clear representation of concrete products for carpentry and steel shops as well as plant production.

Draft a Bill of Materials deriving from shop card callouts.

Ensure the accuracy of shop cards against erection drawings, revising as necessary, before presenting for final verification.

Transform sketches or markups from designers into detailed steel cards.

Additional duties may be assigned to enhance project outcomes. Your Educational Background

A High School diploma or GED is essential, supplemented by a minimum of three months of pertinent experience and at least one course in computer-aided drafting, such as AutoCAD. Skills and Expertise

An adept knowledge of AutoCAD, particularly in the context of precast structures and commercial or residential construction, will set you apart.

Proficiency expected in:

CAD Software

Blueprint Interpretation

Technological Tools Utilized:

3D Modeling (AutoCAD, Solidworks)
