Position: Collections Manager
Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA (Hybrid, 5 days in office for training and then 1 day in office)
Pay: $110,000 to $120,000 annually
Experience: 5+ yearsâ experience in legal or professional services to lead the collections department.
Education: Bachelorâ s degree in finance or a related field is required.
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday â Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm

Job Description:
Collaborate with the Revenue Director on collections targets.
Manage the collections team.
Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities.
Develop initiatives to improve collection rates.
Oversee portfolio management by collectors.
Handle complex collection cases.
Coordinate with attorneys on collection efforts.
Maintain client contact to resolve disputes.
Ensure prompt payment resolution.
Prepare management reports.
Lead quarterly collections initiatives.
Monitor key performance metrics.
Recommend process improvements.
Develop procedures and best practices.
Monitor aging reports and past due accounts.
Lead staff training programs.
Position Requirements:
Must be proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Excellent analytical and communication skills.
Ability to be organized, detail-oriented, and driven.
Familiarity with legal billing practices and knowledge of 3E Collection Software is preferred.
