IT Business Analyst
We are currently seeking an IT Business Analyst with a focus on HCM application support. This role will be a Contract to Hire role with the opportunity to specialize in Workday. Responsibilities include but not limited to the below:
Coordinate bi-weekly releases including communication to GPOs and HR stakeholders.
Coordinate access provisioning, extensions and deprovisioning for IT users including contingent workers and AMS teams (Workday, consultant onboarding forms, OKTA access, other application access as necessary).
Communicate and maintain AMS, internal contact lists and ensure communication of new and terminated users to internal stakeholders.
Continuously improve and streamline the adoption of IT change control process including training of new members.
Coordinate the project intake process for HCM IT with IT PMO and ensure updates to the IT PM application and maintenance of timelines for the HCM roadmap.
Ensure documentation of functional configuration and technical specifications are up to date including approvals for mass loads.
Manage Workday cases, tenant refresh requests and ensure pre and post communication of refresh activities align with ongoing projects and activities.
Manage Workday tenant renewals, coordinate agreements and sow related tasks.
Support IT audits by coordinating asks with AMS and internal members.
Coordinate tasks with external vendors such as ADP, Merrill Lynch, Applic8 and other internal workstreams for testing and system updates.
Coordinate Product demos and queries with Workday and other partners.
Ability to transition and develop into a Workday Business Analyst developing and configuring solutions to business requirements.
Required:
Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, HR Analyst or in a similar role.
Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation techniques.
Experience with business analysis tools such as Microsoft Visio, Lucid Chart, JIRA, Confluence, or other relevant software.
Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.), and related tools like Service Now.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and manage competing priorities.
Ability to manage decisions / escalations in a timely manner
Preferred:
Understanding of end-to-end HR business processes
Expertise with Workday terminology and configuration
Experience working in an HR IT / HR environment
