As a Cybersecurity Architect you will be you will be responsible for ensuring the security of our client’s Enterprise Security and Infrastructure Operations Center. This position is a key member of our client delivery requiring the ability to design enterprise security architecture solutions as defined by the Federal Enterprise Architecture (FEA).Requirements:

Responsibilities:

As a Cybersecurity Architect, you’ll be Zen’s expert working effectively with government personnel, contractors and third-party vendors to architect solutions. You be responsible for designing a combined monitoring environment of an enterprise NOC/SOC, responsible for cybersecurity, network, cloud, web, and application event monitoring and incident handling. You will partner with highly specialized IT and cybersecurity team of all levels charged with integrating and managing agile principles into cybersecurity, network, application monitoring, cyber threat intelligence, threat hunting, penetration testing and forensics.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:

Experience: 10+ years of experience performing functions and responsibilities as Project leader for large organizations, preferably federal.

Education: Master’s of Science in Information Technology or Cybersecurity field preferred. In lieu of Bachelor’s of Science degree relevant years of experience equivalent accepted.

Certification: Active/Good standing professional certification(s) in Certified Information Systems Security Professional-Information Systems Security Architecture (CISSP-ISSAP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional-Information Systems Security Engineering Professional (CISSP-ISSEP), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Sherwood Applied Business Security Architecture (SABSA), The Open Group Architectural Framework (TOGAF), Zero Trust related certifications.

Strong written communication, strong presentation skills, diplomacy skills, team skills, knowing one’s limits, coping with stress, time management.

Technical foundation skills: cloud security principles, security vulnerabilities and weaknesses, security engineering, security tools, and understanding cloud technologies.

Must be an expert of technical knowledge, understanding and skills in IT Security concepts, Cloud services, Infrastructure, networking, Zero Trust, and data management.

Need to have skills to work with minimal supervision and as part of a larger team.

Experience in maintenance and development of Cybersecurity programs, policies, procedures, and tools is imperative.

Practical experience security as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO), Cybersecurity Engineering, Cloud Security Architect, Identity Architect, solutions architect, or Enterprise Architect.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience with operational toolsets that include but not limited to; Azure Security Center, ForeScout, Microsoft Defender Products, Microsoft Sentinel, RSA Archer, Forcepoint, Gigamon, Splunk, Tenable Nessus, Palo Alto, Azure Active Directory, Cisco routers and switches, Cisco ASA and NGFW platforms, Cisco ISE, Akamai, F5

Experience with all relevant OMB Memorandums, NIST Special Publications, FITARA and standard best practice and federal guidance related to cybersecurity and infrastructure compliance.

Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers and third-party risk assessments.

Proactively identifies areas for improvement within the Information Security function and collaborate with internal teams to implement long-term strategies that enhance the organization's capabilities and efficiency.

Security Clearance: Must be willing to obtain and maintain a clearance ; Public Trust
