Due to MSG's continued growth, a new opening is available for a Project Surveyor to assist with our projects in Canton, Michigan!
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and execution of various land surveying projects, including boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS, utility, DOT and construction surveys.
Perform CAD drafting of survey plans and base maps using Civil 3D, Open Roads Designer (ORD) and related software.
Process field data, manage survey databases, and contribute to QA/QC of deliverables.
Coordinate with internal teams to facilitate survey workflow.
Support research of property records, deeds, plats, and legal descriptions.
Maintain organization of project files, reports, and documentation.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
4+ years of experience in land surveying, civil/survey design, or related technical field.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey data processing tools (e.g., Trimble Business Center, StarNet or similar).
Ability to work independently or in a team and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
