DUTIES: Under the supervision of the City Manager and Assistant City Manager, the Administrative Assistant to the City Manager's Office provides overall City Manager's Office Coordination. Coordinates meetings, events, appointment calendars, and travel arrangements as needed and assists in preparing and maintaining various documents, files and correspondences. Provides assistance to the Assistant City Manager, and the Elected Officials.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: Graduation from high school or GED, plus one (1) year of specialized college or vocational training in general office practices and procedures, PC Operation, and various software applications.
Experience: Three (3) years of responsible experience related to the above duties; experience working in a high level administrative support capacity with similar responsibilities including: experience aiding executive staff in technical and administration problems; proficiency with word processing software, and experience working with and maintaining databases.
Licenses/Certifications: Utah Records Office Certification within one year of hire; Notary Public within 6 months of hire.
SALARY: Salary Range is $22.65 to $36.24. Typical Hiring Range is $22.65 to $29.45 per hour depending on experience.
SCHEDULE: 20 hours per week. Schedule will be determined upon hire. Office hours are as follows: M-TH, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Some evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required.
