Job Description:
We're hiring a Patient Access Supervisor to oversee daily operations, provide training and mentorship to staff, and ensure seamless patient registration and scheduling processes. This role will directly support a busy emergency department and contribute to a positive patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support a team of approximately 25 full-time employees in the emergency department
Train and mentor new and existing team members
Monitor scheduling, workflows, and operational reporting
Collaborate with department leadership to improve access services and ensure compliance
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in patient access or related healthcare registration roles
At least 2 years of supervisory experience
Knowledge of hospital admissions, centralized scheduling, and emergency department operations
Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred
Proficient in Epic
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Able to lead with professionalism and empathy
